Yashoda Maiya's unique form to protect herself from Kansa

The tradition of mothers dressing up boys in girl's clothes in childhood is still seen in many Indian families. After birth, when Kanha reached Mother Yashoda in Gokul, Kansa sent many terrible demons like Putana, Bakasura and Trinavarta to kill him.
 
To protect her son from these negative powers and from the eyes of Kansa's spies, Mother Yashoda sometimes decorated Kanha in the form of a girl. This tradition of deceiving the demons and saving the life of the child became a popular belief over time, which is still considered as a symbol of protection from the evil eye.

Amazing secrets of Kanha's life

Everyone knows that Kanha was a butter thief and used to eat butter by sharing it with his cowherd boys. But in many stories it is also mentioned that he used to feed butter to monkeys with great love. At its core lies a deep connection between incarnations.
Shri Krishna remembered his previous incarnation Lord Shri Ram. In Treta Yuga, when the time came to search for Mother Sita and fight with Ravana, the monkey army offered everything to help Shri Ram. To repay the same gratitude and love, in Dwapara Yuga, Shri Krishna had special affection towards monkeys and used to feed them butter lovingly.

Kanha descended into the depths of the sea for Gurudakshina.

The story of killing the Kaliya serpent in Yamuna is famous, but another amazing incident of Shri Krishna descending into the deep depths of the ocean is to the ashram of Maharishi Sandipani. After completing his education in Ujjain, when Shri Krishna and Balram requested Guru Sandipani to ask for Gurudakshina, the Maharishi expressed his desire to bring back his son who had gone missing in the sea. Following the orders of his Guru, Shri Krishna reached the depths of the ocean, where he encountered a demon named Panchajan. By killing that demon and going to Yamalok, Shri Krishna established the best tradition of Gurudakshina by bringing back his Guru's son safely.

Dust at the feet of Radha Rani

Once amidst the huge celebrations on the birth anniversary of Shri Krishna, the Lord took rest under the pretext of headache. When asked by Mother Rukmini and Satyabhama, they said that if a great devotee applies the dust of his feet on their forehead, then their pain can be soothed. Rukmini, Satyabhama and Devarshi Narad retreated out of fear of committing sin, because placing the dust of one's feet on the head of God was considered a great sin. When this message reached Radha Rani in Vrindavan, she dusted her feet without wasting a moment. Radha said that even if she has to suffer the tortures of hell for eternity, the most important thing is to relieve the suffering of her beloved Kanha. This selfless and selfless love was the biggest truth of Shri Krishna's life.
