Ayodhya: Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust on Wednesday made changes in its administrative structure and appointed three new trustees. Mahesh Bhagchandka of Delhi, Madan Mohan Pandey of Ayodhya and Nirmala Yadav of Shikohabad have been given important responsibilities in the trust.

According to reports, Mahesh Bhagchandka is said to be to late Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Ashok Singhal. The appointment of the three new trustees was discussed in the important meeting of the Trust. This meeting is being organized at Mani Ram Das Cantonment, the residence of Ayodhya-based Trust President Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. Discussions are also being held in the meeting regarding appointments to other vacant posts of the Trust.

The first CEO of Ram Mandir will be announced soon.

Another major administrative decision is expected to be taken in the trust meeting. It is believed that during this time, the name of the first Chief Executive Officer i.e. CEO of Ram Temple can be formally announced. The responsibility of the CEO will be to monitor the administrative functioning of the Temple Trust and handle the major tasks to the Ram Temple complex. As the meeting of senior officials continues, discussions are going on regarding the final name for this post.

Discussion going on on many names

This change in administrative responsibilities in the Ram temple is taking place at a time when there is talk of large-scale changes in the trust after allegations of alleged theft of offerings. Amidst this development, the process of appointing a full-time CEO for the temple has also been taken forward. Among the possible candidates for the post of CEO, the names of former IPS officer Rajesh Pandey and former IAS officer Dinesh Chandra have emerged prominently. Apart from this, the names of retired IAS officer Yogeshwar Ram Mishra and former IPS officer Paresh Saxena are also being discussed. However, the Trust has not yet released the official list of final candidates.

5,585 people had applied

A three-member committee was formed on July 6 to select the CEO. This includes retired judge Pramod Kohli, retired Lieutenant General Vishnukant Chaturvedi and Suresh Haware. A total of 5,585 people had applied for this post. Of these, 3,570 candidates had completed the application process and submitted their forms. Now after the trust meeting, the hope of Ram Mandir getting its first CEO has increased.
