A migrant worker from Telangana’s Jagitial district was killed in a Russian missile attack in Ukraine, according to reports reaching Hyderabad. His friend, who had travelled with him for construction work, reportedly escaped unhurt. More information is awaited.

Hyderabad: A migrant worker hailing from Jagitial district working in Ukraine was killed in a Russian missile attack on Ukraine, according to information reaching here on Wednesday. Another worker from the same district was reported to have escaped death in the missile attack.
The worker identified as Vavila Sudershan hailing from Husnabad village and his friend (whose name is not yet known) from Tatipally village had recently gone on a ‘company visa’ to Ukraine as construction workers.
According to reports reaching here, sirens rang out about the missile attack and both Telangana workers rushed out of their residential quarters and ran in different directions.
As ill luck would have it, the Russian missile landed in the same direction in which Sudershan fled. This led to his instant death, reports said.
The other Telangana worker is reportedly safe.
Sudershan had worked in Dubai for a sometime and returned home. He and his friend had secured jobs in a construction company in Ukraine and had flown to Ukraine just four months ago.
