Material

for flour

  • Wheat flour – 2 cups
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Oil or ghee – 1 teaspoon
  • Water – to knead the dough

for stuffing

  • Eggs – 3
  • Finely chopped onion – 1 medium size
  • Finely chopped green chillies – 2 (as per taste)
  • Finely chopped coriander – 2-3 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – half teaspoon
  • Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
  • Chaat masala – half teaspoon
  • Salt – as per taste
  • ghee or oil for cooking

method of making

step 1
First of all, take wheat flour in a vessel. Add a little salt and one spoon oil to it and mix well. Now add water little by little and knead a soft dough. Cover the dough and let it set for 10-15 minutes.

Step 2
Break the eggs in a bowl. Add finely chopped onion, green chilli, green coriander, red chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala and salt as per taste. Beat all these things well with the help of a fork or whisk so that a smooth mixture is prepared.

Step 3
After this, break balls from the kneaded dough. Wrap a ball in dry flour and roll it like a roti. Now heat the pan and put the rolled roti on the pan and cook it lightly from both the sides.

Step 4
Take out the lightly roasted roti from the pan or lift it slightly from the edge of the pan itself. Now spread the prepared egg mixture all over the roti. Apply some ghee or oil on its edges and let it cook on low flame.

Step 5
When the egg is cooked on one side, carefully turn the paratha. Cook from the other side also until golden and crispy. If needed, apply some more ghee on top so that the paratha becomes crispy. Hot protein-rich Egg Paratha is ready. You can serve it with green chutney, tomato ketchup, curd or pickle of your choice. This breakfast will not let you feel hungry till afternoon.
