Petrol Diesel Price Today 3 September: There was no significant change in the prices of Brent crude on Thursday and they remained around $95 per barrel, as the renewed tension between America and Iran had created uneasiness in the market. When last seen, Brent crude futures were down 0.1% at $95.15 per barrel. Prices were up about 1% on Wednesday after the US and Iran exchanged military strikes, ending weeks of calm. Brent crude closed at $95.63, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rose nearly 1% to $91.01.
The renewed fighting has increased concerns about the supply of oil through the Strait of Hormuz, which is an important route for global energy supply. More than 17 million barrels of oil passed through the strait on Monday, although supplies are still below pre-war levels of about 20 million barrels per day. In such a situation, we will know what are the prices of petrol and diesel across the country.
