Following a charity livestream for Nepal, the S8UL gamer continues his relief efforts through on-ground support in Assam, including contributing to the construction of seven homes for flood-affected families
Mumbai: S8UL Esports gamer Gulrez Khan, popularly known as Joker Ki Haveli, brought together the gaming and esports community to support flood relief efforts. Through a charity livestream, he mobilised viewers, fellow creators and esports enthusiasts to raise INR 4.85 lakh for flood relief in Nepal, before taking his efforts on the ground to Assam, where he has personally visited flood-affected villages and contributed towards the long-term rehabilitation of families impacted by the disaster.
The charity stream, organized in collaboration with Joker Ki Haveli’s community, brought together viewers, fellow creators and members of the esports ecosystem to raise approximately NPR 7.71 lakh for communities affected by the devastating floods in Nepal. S8UL creators also contributed to the initiative, adding to the collective effort. Thanking everyone who supported the stream, Joker Ki Haveli said the contribution was more than just a number, representing “hope, help, and humanity” for people facing difficult circumstances.
His efforts have also extended to Assam, where he personally travelled to several flood-affected villages, including Simaluguri, Polokhoni (Banmukh) and Bamunpukhuri (Gogainbari), to support and ground-manage relief efforts. Beyond immediate assistance, he is also supporting the construction of seven houses for families whose homes have been affected by the floods, while contributing essential supplies including food and mattresses to communities in need.
The move reflects a broader approach to relief that extends beyond immediate fundraising towards sustained support and rehabilitation. While digital platforms have enabled creators to mobilise large communities around causes within hours, Joker Ki Haveli’s continued involvement on the ground highlights how that collective support can translate into tangible assistance for affected families.
