With the Asian Games scheduled to begin later this month, regular India head coach Gautam Gambhir will remain with the senior side for the home ODI series against the West Indies. The three-match series is scheduled to begin on September 27.

The cricket competition at the Asian Games will get underway on September 24, with India beginning its campaign on September 28.

For the women's team, Amol Muzumdar will continue as head coach, with Aavishkar Salvi serving as bowling coach and Munish Bali as fielding coach.

The Indian women's team, which enters the competition at the quarterfinal stage, will face hosts Japan. The men's team, meanwhile, will take on the second-placed side from Group A, featuring Afghanistan, Japan and Nepal.

India will look to retain both its men's and women's T20 titles at the Asian Games. The men's side will be led by Shreyas Iyer and includes teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, while Harmanpreet Kaur will captain the women's team.
