Barcelona have officially confirmed their first-team squad numbers for the 2026/27 season.

Fourteen players will wear new shirt numbers this term, including all three of Hansi Flick’s first-team goalkeepers. Joan Garcia has been handed the iconic No. 1 shirt, while Wojciech Szczesny will wear No. 13 and Dominik Livakovic is set to take No. 25.

Fermin Lopez has taken the No. 7 shirt that became available following Ferran Torres’ departure in the summer, while Roony Bardghi will wear No. 19. Brian Farinas has been assigned No. 4, which was previously worn by Ronald Araujo, with the defender set to spend the coming season on loan at Liverpool. Xavi Espart will wear the No. 12 shirt in his first full campaign with the senior side.

Among the new arrivals, Gabriel Jesus has taken the No. 9 shirt that was previously worn by Robert Lewandowski. Karim Adeyemi has claimed Marcus Rashford’s former No. 14 shirt, while Rodri will continue with No. 16 in his first season as a Barcelona player.

With Marc Casado having been sent on loan to Deportivo La Coruna for the entirety of the 2026/27 season, Anthony Gordon will take the No. 17 shirt. Joao Cancelo will wear No. 2, a number that remained vacant throughout last season.

Jesse Bisiwu and Hamza Abdelkarim will wear No. 27 and No. 29 respectively.
