What is the JioPC service? Telecom company Reliance Jio launched JioPC in India on Wednesday. Earlier JioPC was limited only to JioHome broadband subscribers. This service is available as a separate subscription across the country. JioPC is a subscription-based computer service that provides fast, secure, and high-performance computing without expensive hardware.

Actually, JioPC is a cloud-based virtual desktop service, which turns your ordinary TV or old computer into a high-performance AI-ready computer through the internet. It is designed to update itself, reduce the need for repairs and maintenance, and keep users' files and data safe. It can be used for a variety of purposes, from work and study to content creation and trading, making high-performance computing accessible and affordable to more people.

Users can access their JioPC account using a web browser from any computer and anywhere. It takes less than 5 minutes to set up or upgrade. With the help of Jio set-top box, keyboard and mouse, it can also convert TV into PC. JioPC runs on Ubuntu/Linux with LibreOffice and browser-based apps, but Windows-specific software may not be directly available. Also, JioPC cannot be used offline like a traditional PC.
