DM's surprise inspection in Khajni tehsil, system tested from records to pending cases

Khajni, Gorakhpur. During the inspection of administrative officers in Khajni tehsil on Thursday, at around 5 pm, the surprise inspection of District Magistrate Gorakhpur Deepak Meena increased the activity among the officers and employees. The District Magistrate took detailed stock of the cleanliness and maintenance of the Tehsil premises, the status of records and the progress of revenue works.

ADM Administration Dr. Vaibhav Sharma, SDM Treasurer Kunal Rastogi and Tehsildar Dhruvesh Kumar were present during the inspection.
Investigation from SDM Court to Registrar Office

The District Magistrate first inspected various offices and counters of the Tehsil complex. He looked at files to pending and old cases in the SDM court and inquired about the progress of the cases. He directed the officials that there should be no unnecessary delay in disposal of pending cases and the complainants should get timely relief.

After this, the registrar office and record room were inspected and the condition of maintenance of important documents and records was examined. The shortcomings revealed in previous inspections were also reviewed. The District Magistrate saw how much the instructions given earlier had been implemented. Instructions were given to repair the systems that needed improvement. The new building and the old building were also inspected.

The DM also inspected the new building of the tehsil and took stock of the arrangements there. Special instructions were given regarding cleanliness and maintenance of offices. Tehsil officers, employees and accountants were present during the inspection.

Revenue works were reviewed in the meeting

During the inspection, revenue works were reviewed with the officials. The District Magistrate gave instructions to speed up the work and ensure timely disposal of pending cases. Necessary guidelines were also given to the new SDM Kunal Rastogi regarding the arrangements and pending works of the tehsil.

DM's main instructions

Filed-Dismissed: Cases should be disposed of within 45 days. Inheritance cases should be disposed of within 30 days in any case.
Lekhpal Camp: Every Lekhpal organizes a camp in the village for three days a week and listens to the problems of the villagers.

Dealing with complainants: Indecency will not be tolerated at any level. Help Desk: Tehsil help desk should be kept active. Weekly report: Reports of pending cases should be sent to the District Magistrate's office regularly.

During the surprise inspection, the District Magistrate asked the officials to complete the affected works on priority basis and ensure necessary improvements in the arrangements of the tehsil.
