Under the new rules, customers with regular savings accounts will get less free transactions at the bank’s ATM than before. At the same time, after the free limit is over, you will have to pay higher fees for withdrawing cash.

Now 5 free transactions at Canara Bank ATM

Regular savings account holders will now get 5 free transactions in a month at Canara Bank ATM. Earlier this limit was of 6 transactions. This also includes non-financial services like cash withdrawal and balance check.

However, there has been no change in the rules for senior citizens. They will continue to get 8 free transactions every month at Canara Bank ATM.

Rs 23 GST on cash withdrawal after free limit

After the limit of free transaction is over, you will have to pay Rs 23 + GST ​​per transaction for withdrawing cash from Canara Bank ATM. Earlier this charge was Rs 20 + GST. Apart from cash withdrawal, this fee also includes financial services like ICCW i.e. UPI Cash Withdrawal.

Non-financial transaction charges

For balance inquiry and other non-financial ATM services, there will be a charge of Rs 5 plus GST per transaction after the free limit is exhausted. There has been no change in this charge.

If there is not enough money in the account and the ATM transaction fails after exceeding the free limit, a charge of Rs 23 + GST ​​may be imposed. Earlier this fee was Rs 17 plus GST.

How many free transactions at another bank’s ATM?

On using ATM of other banks with Canara Bank Debit Card, you get 3 free transactions every month in metro cities and 5 in non-metro cities. After this the prescribed charges of the bank may be applicable. At the same time, Canara Bank has reduced the extra fees for Green PIN Regeneration. Earlier one had to pay Rs 23 plus GST for this, which has now been reduced to Rs 5 + GST.
