Recently, Pooja Das reached the hotseat of KBC. Pooja belongs to a small village named Wasilpur Grant in Uttar Pradesh. Pooja has studied only till 12th class. She is the mother of two children and takes care of the household with her family. By reaching the stage of KBC, she proved to everyone that a woman can do anything if she is determined. He impressed Amitabh Bachchan a lot with his game and won the prize money of Rs 12.5 lakh. Amitabh Bachchan was greatly impressed by Pooja’s wisdom.
The only content creator of the village
Pooja Das is the first and only content creator of her village. He also has a good command over English. Even Amitabh Bachchan himself was surprised by his talent. Pooja Das crossed the milestone of ₹12.5 lakh and got stuck on the question of ₹25 lakh. Till the question of Rs 25 lakh, only one lifeline was left. Parents lost their lives in childhood
Pooja told that both her parents lost their lives at an early age. While talking to Amitabh Bachchan, Pooja also told about the difficult situations she had to face while growing up. When she was 15 years old, her mother passed away and two years later her father also passed away. After the death of her parents, Pooja told that the people of her village started pressurizing her for marriage. Finally they got married at the age of 21. Now it has been three years of marriage and Pooja has a small daughter who is going to be two years old next month.
In-laws supported
Pooja also spoke fondly about her relationship with her in-laws, especially her mother-in-law Kamala Mandal. He said that after marriage, he got support like parents from his in-laws, Kamla gave him courage instead of stopping his dreams. From recipe videos to women empowerment content, Pooja started creating content about two years ago. In her initial videos, she mostly shared her mother-in-law’s recipes. With time she created a niche for herself and started speaking on topics like women empowerment. Pooja mostly makes her videos in English
Pooja also told that she chose English because she did not want to attract unnecessary attention from the people around her. During the conversation, Bachchan was also surprised to see his fluency in English. Pooja said that she completed Class 12 from an English medium school, which helped her understand and speak the language.
