Actors Rajveer Singh and Aaradhana Sharma are making their foray into the microdrama format with Adhura Ishqan emotionally driven series that explores love, ambition, relationships and self-worth through short, daily episodes.

Rajveer, who makes his microdrama debut with the series, said he was drawn to the format because it combines the immediacy of short-form storytelling with the emotional depth of an ongoing drama. He also highlighted the “Dailies” approach, which allows audiences to return to the characters each day and follow their evolving journeys.

Rajveer plays Aryan Kapoor, an honest government civil engineer who leads a simple life with his wife Meera, portrayed by Aaradhana Sharma. He said Aryan undergoes a significant transformation as his circumstances change, giving him an opportunity to explore different emotional layers within the fast-paced format.

Aaradhana said she enjoyed discovering the microdrama format through Adhura Ishqparticularly its daily-release structure. She noted that the short episodes allow viewers to develop an organic connection with the characters as the story progresses.

Playing Meera, Aaradhana said the character has multiple shades shaped by her aspirations, relationships and circumstances, and the daily format gave her an opportunity to explore those emotions gradually.

The story takes a dramatic turn when Aryan and Meera cross paths with Vikram Malhotra, played by Ankit Raj, a billionaire industrialist whose wealth and influence begin to affect their marriage. As ambitions and relationships collide, the couple is forced to confront questions about love, self-worth and their shared future.

The series also stars Roneisha Sharma as Aryan's daughter Riddhi, along with Shraddha Singh, Raghav Binani, Trishna, Prarthana and Bindhya.

Adhura Ishq is streaming on Story TV, with a new episode released every day under the Story TV Dailies section of the app.
