Mathura: On the holy festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Shri Krishna's birthplace on Friday morning. On reaching the birthplace at 9:55 am on the second day of the two-day Mathura tour, he first reached the sanctum sanctorum and had darshan of Lala. The Chief Minister kept looking at the idol of Lord Shri Krishna present in the sanctum sanctorum for a long time. Officials of Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan welcomed him. After this, the Chief Minister performed darshan and worship at Yogamaya Temple, Keshavdev Temple and Bhagwat Bhawan as per the rituals.

While wishing Shri Krishna Janmashtami to the devotees in the temple premises, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Brajbhoomi has faced both even and odd situations. There were many attacks here and many people tried to impose their faith on India, but those who tried to destroy the faith of Sanatan themselves got destroyed.
Shri Krishna's messages are still relevant today
The Chief Minister said that not only in Brajbhoomi but throughout India, the memory of Shri Krishna and Radharani is still a source of inspiration for the people. It also gives enthusiasm to the future generation to move forward. The proclamation made by Lord Shri Krishna about 5200 years ago is equally relevant even today. Where there is gentle power, there will be protection.
He said that whenever anti-national and social forces try to create hatred, Lord Shri Krishna has already told what the consequences will be. Faith gives positive direction and momentum to man, whereas disbelief leads to negativity. The result of such a tendency is a misfortune like Kansa.
Targeted at the followers of Babar-Aurangzeb
The Chief Minister said that this faith and feeling is the strength of Sanatan. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is seeing the coordination of its heritage and development. Referring to Ayodhya, he said that in the year 1528, a foreign invader had tried to destroy our faith. Those who thought themselves invincible have been destroyed today. He said that those who do not like the development and transformation of Ayodhya are trying to defame it.

The Chief Minister said that faith in Yogamaya has provided a grand complex to Vindhyavasini Dham. He said that the state government has faith in Krishna Kanhaiya, Lord Shri Ram, Baba Vishwanath and Maa Vindhyavasini. Raising the question, he said that those who have faith in Babar and Aurangzeb, will they be able to respect your faith?
'Double engine government will spoil its plans'
CM Yogi said that the followers of Babar and Aurangzeb are once again trying to poison the society. His habit is to poison the society, so that the morale of anti-social and anti-national elements increases. Such elements may try to breach security, play with the future of the youth and endanger the safety of sisters and daughters.
He said that such people may try to plunder the welfare of Annadata farmers and stop the progress of artisans and handicraftsmen, but the double engine government will sabotage all their plans and will never allow them to be fulfilled.
Cow worship done at birthplace
After darshan and worship, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also performed cow worship in the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi complex. He fed jaggery and fodder to the cattle. Strict security arrangements were made in the temple premises for the Chief Minister to reach the birthplace of Shri Krishna on the occasion of Janmashtami. During this, a large number of devotees were present and listened to the Chief Minister's address with interest.
