Hisar. The news of death of a 66-year-old woman due to swine flu (H1N1) is coming to light in Hisar district of Haryana. The infection situation in the state is becoming worrying and so far a total of 276 cases of swine flu have been recorded, out of which 96 cases are active.

Died in private hospital
According to information received from the Health Department, the deceased woman was a resident of Narnaund area. After his health deteriorated, he was admitted to a private hospital in Hisar, where he died during treatment. Let us tell you that this is the first death of a local resident of Hisar district due to swine flu this season. Earlier this week, a patient from Sirsa also died during treatment in Hisar hospital.
District wise figures and health department alert
A total of 22 cases of swine flu have been reported so far in Hisar district. The health department is fully prepared after finding three cases of infection and death of one patient in Sirsa district.

High alert issued
Haryana Health Department has issued a high alert across the state in view of the increasing cases due to monsoon and changing weather. The administration has issued a special warning to all civil hospitals, community health centers (CHCs) and primary health centers (PHCs). Instructions have been given to keep flu corners and isolation wards fully prepared in all hospitals so that investigation and treatment of suspected patients can be started immediately.
