Ingredients for making gram flour onion cheela
- Gram flour – 1 bowl
- Onion – 1
- Green chilli – 2
- Celery – 1 tsp
- Red chilli – 1 tsp
- Curry leaves – 8-10
- Oil – as per need
- Salt – as per taste
Method to make gram flour onion cheela
step 1- To make gram flour and onion cheela, first take a mixing bowl and add gram flour in it. Now chop onion and green chilli finely and add it to gram flour and mix well. Now add red chili powder, celery and salt as per taste to this mixture and mix everything. Finally add curry leaves and prepare the batter by adding water little by little.
Step 2- Now take a nonstick pan/griddle and keep it on medium flame to heat. When the pan becomes hot, pour some oil on it and spread it all around. Now take gram flour solution in a bowl and pour it in the middle of the pan and spread it in a circular shape all around. Let the cheela cook like this for some time and then turn it. Now apply oil on the other side of the cheela and cook. Fry the cheela by turning it repeatedly until its color becomes golden.
Step 3- After this, take out the cheela in a plate. Your delicious gram flour onion cheela is ready. Similarly, prepare cheela from the entire batter. Serve it with tomato sauce or green chutney in breakfast. If you want, you can make gram flour cheela without adding onion.
