Tata Motors has officially launched its much-awaited Curvv Series The company has kept the ex-showroom price of this new range between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 19 lakh. Tata has completely rebooted its variant line-up, under which now even customers buying base and mid-variants will get the benefit of premium technology and high-end features.

Big bang in Pure X trim: 10.25-inch infotainment at a low price

As part of the new variant strategy, the Pure Along with this, customers will also get support of wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The lower and mid-spec variants now include features like automatic climate control, push-button start/stop and auto-folding ORVMs.

Talking about mid-variants, it is being provided with a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, multiple drive modes, USB charging port for both front and back rows and cooled glove box.

Big change in legroom and seating space

Tata has improved the rear cabin space keeping in mind customer feedback. The front seat backs have been slimmed by 10mm, while the rear seats have been moved back 20mm and down 10mm. With this change, rear passengers will get better legroom and thigh-support. Light theme has been used in the cabin, with which rear AC vents and reclining seats make the journey comfortable.

Engine Options and Safety Packages

Three engine options have been retained for performance in this coupe-SUV:

• 1.2 liter turbo-petrol: 120hp power and 170Nm torque
• 1.2 liter direct-injection turbo-petrol: 125hp power and 225Nm torque
• 1.5 liter diesel engine: 118hp power and 260Nm torque

In terms of safety, 6 airbags, ESP, hill-hold control, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensor are provided as standard across the range. At the same time, the upper trims have modern safety technology like level-2 ADAS, 360-degree camera (with blind-view monitor), air purifier and gesture-control powered tailgate.
