According to Police Station Officer Rajmal, the woman’s body was found in a well near Borada Road on September 3. According to Sarpanch Kanaram, the deceased was identified as Sonidevi, wife of Bajrang Bairava.

Marks of strangulation and injury on the head were found on the neck of the deceased. Due to which there was a possibility of his murder. During enquiry, it was revealed that Soni Devi was missing from home since Wednesday afternoon.

After the post-mortem, the medical board confirmed the suspicion of murder. On the report of deceased’s husband Bajrang Bairava, a case was registered and investigation was started.

In this case, the villagers had blocked the state highway and started protesting to arrest the accused after a fair investigation.

On the instructions of Ajmer Inspector General of Police Dr. Ravi, SP Ajmer Harshvardhan Aggarwala, ASP Rural Lalchand Kayal, a team was formed under the leadership of Police Officer Rajmal under the supervision of CO Kishangarh Rural Ayush Vashishtha and the investigation was done.

During investigation, Shankarlal’s statements were found suspicious during interrogation around the incident site. According to the police, there were scratch marks on his neck also, about which he could not give a satisfactory answer.

On the basis of strict interrogation and technical evidence, he confessed to the murder. According to the police, on September 2, Shankarlal was with a minor girl in the fields.

Meanwhile, Soni Devi, seeing both of them in an objectionable situation, interrupted them. Police claim that due to fear of defamation, both of them together murdered Soni Devi.

After this, the accused put the body in the well and kept searching for it along with the family members to show his innocence. Further investigation in the case is going on.
