Was afraid to leave the house due to rape threats
Earlier on Friday, there was a commotion throughout the day outside the Parliament Street Police Station regarding the assault case with Nishu Azad's father. In this case, victim Nishu Azad, her father Sanjay Azad, Azad Samaj Party President and MP Chandrashekhar Azad, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka and lawyer Rishabh Ranjan spoke to the media and gave information about the conversation with the police.
CJP worker Nishu Azad said that for the last several days, supporters of the accused were abusing her and threatening her with rape. Nishu said that to tell the truth, people were abusing me and threatening me with rape for so many days. I have also lodged an FIR against him. Now a complaint has been filed against him and I hope the police will take action against him.
He said that these threats have had a deep impact on his life. The way these people were abusing me, threatening me with rape and making obscene stickers of me, I was feeling shy even to step out of the house. Because of this incident, I did not go to college for two-three weeks due to fear. And now whenever I go, I feel that everyone is judging me, I feel very bad. I hope the police will take action now so that I don't have to endure all this any more. Till now the police was not responding but now it is. So it is expected that the police will also take similar action.
