Delhi: BCCI has taken a big decision before the Asian Games 2026 campaign of the Indian cricket team. The board has decided to send fast bowlers Mayank Yadav, Kartik Tyagi and Mohsin Khan with the team as net bowlers. It is being told that in view of the team's preparations, head coach VVS Laxman had demanded additional bowlers, after which the board took this decision.

The Indian team will leave for Japan from Delhi on 20 September. However, these three players will not be part of the official Indian team. He will be kept with the team only for practice and preparation. If the Japan visa is obtained on time, all three will stay with the team till India's first match on September 28.

Mayank Yadav's record

Mayank Yadav plays for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL. He has played 6 T20 International matches for India, in which he has 9 wickets to his name. His bowling average is 17.22 and his best performance in T20 International is 3/29. Recently, he was dropped from the Indian T20 team after the Zimbabwe tour.

Karthik Tyagi's brilliant IPL season

Karthik Tyagi is a part of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL. In IPL 2026, he played 14 matches and took 18 wickets. During this period, his bowling average was 27.66 and his economy rate was less than 10 runs per over. However, he has not got a place in the Indian T20 team yet.

Mohsin Khan also impressed
