Nutrients like magnesium, zinc, tryptophan and healthy fats are found in pumpkin seeds. Magnesium supports the nervous system and muscle function. Zinc is essential for general tissue health of the body, including hair and skin. Due to these nutrients, pumpkin seeds can become a part of a balanced diet and support hair and overall health.

Pumpkin seeds are considered very beneficial for hair health. The zinc, protein, healthy fats and minerals present in them can help in providing necessary nutrition to the hair roots and hair follicles. Consuming pumpkin seeds regularly as part of a balanced diet can support hair growth and strength.

The right way to eat pumpkin seeds

You can eat 1 tablespoon lightly roasted pumpkin seeds about an hour before sleeping. It is better to chew them thoroughly and eat them. Soaked pumpkin seeds along with soaked almonds and a walnut can be taken in the morning. It is recommended to eat them on an empty stomach or with breakfast. If there is a problem of flatulence, they can be consumed with a pinch of ginger or black pepper. Avoid eating more than 1 to 2 tablespoons of pumpkin seeds daily and choose plain seeds instead of highly salted or packaged seeds.
