Before the assembly elections 2027, the meeting of Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav and cockroach Janata Party (CJP) spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka has sparked a new discussion in the politics of the state. There was a closed-door conversation between the two at the SP headquarters for about one and a half hours. Nothing has been officially said from both sides regarding the meeting, but there are speculations that SP and CJP will appear together in the coming days on issues like education system, paper leak and unemployment.

It is being told that Ashutosh Ranka along with some of his colleagues reached SP headquarters and met Akhilesh Yadav. About seven people were present in the meeting. CJP spokesperson expressed gratitude for the support received from the SP chief and MPs during the Jantar Mantar movement. The arrival and support of SP MPs including Dimple Yadav in that movement was also mentioned. Last month, during CJP's 'Fix the School' campaign, Ashutosh Ranka and his team were attacked in Jaipur. At that time too, the SP chief had condemned the incident by posting on Instagram and had given the message of standing in support of the students and youth on issues to them.

SP already attacking on the issue of education and paper leak

In the meeting, along with issues to students and youth, political dialogue with Jain-ji and Jain-Alpha was also discussed. SP has already been cornering the government regarding irregularities in recruitment examinations and education system. The party has been continuously raising questions regarding paper leaks and examination system. On the occasion of Teacher's Day on 5th September, SP is preparing to organize programs outside the merged council schools across the state. In such a situation, it is believed that issues to education system can become a major part of SP's politics in the coming days.

CJP is taking forward its 'Fix the Schools' campaign. The organization is running a campaign regarding the condition of government schools, education system and issues to students. There is also talk of discussion between the two sides regarding the expansion of this campaign and the possibility of raising issues to youth at the political level.

From a political point of view, this meeting, which took place about a year before the assembly elections, is considered important because issues like education, employment and paper leaks are directly to the youth. SP is preparing to corner the government on these issues, while CJP is also raising them prominently through its campaign.

No formal alliance but signs of dialogue

After the meeting of Akhilesh Yadav and Ashutosh Ranka, no political alliance or formal cooperation has been announced at present. However, there is talk of discussion between the two regarding future strategy and cooperation. It is believed that in the coming days, SP and CJP may be seen standing in support of each other on many issues, especially in matters to education and examination. In such a situation, amidst the preparations for the Assembly elections 2027, this possible closeness on issues to youth and students is being considered as the sound of new equations in the politics of the state.
