Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 has a 443cc single-cylinder, long-stroke engine. This engine gives power of 25.4bhp at 6,250rpm and torque of 34Nm at 4,000rpm. The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox, whereas the old Himalayan was given 5 gears. The company has also tried to reduce engine noise and vibration, so that the ride feels more comfortable while riding the bike. The bike has a ground clearance of 220 mm. Its seat height has been kept at 800mm.
Dual-channel ABS is also available as standard in the bike. The special thing is that ABS can be switched off when needed, which makes it easier to ride the bike on roads with raw or loose soil.

The bike also has Tripper Navigation and USB Type-C charging port. Additionally, the 15-litre fuel tank and good luggage carrying capacity make it even more practical for long touring.
