Life Hacks: Meghraj has caused huge devastation in Gujarat. Many cities including Ahmedabad have been submerged due to heavy rains. The main roads of the city are submerged in knee-deep water. In such a situation, drivers have to face a lot of trouble. Often vehicles get stuck in water. In such a situation, if you do not know how to start the vehicle, you may have to bear heavy expenses. If the vehicle suddenly stops, then let us know what to do and what not to do to start it. The main reason for stopping a bike or scooter is water getting into the silencer when the road is flooded due to rain. When the silencer absorbs water from the bottom, the scooter makes a rattling sound. Normally water evaporates, but if the drainage holes are clogged, water gets trapped inside and the scooter stalls. How to remove water from silencer? If water has got into the silencer of the scooter, do not panic. By following the simple steps given below, you can drain the water from the scooter and get it working again. First of all, switch off the scooter, remove the key and tilt the scooter towards the silencer. Start the scooter after the water has drained. After starting the scooter, place it on the stand and drive it slowly for a few minutes so that the engine heats up and the water inside evaporates. What to do if rain water enters the engine? If rain water continuously gets into the engine of the scooter, there is a risk of hydrolock. In this, instead of air, water gets filled in the path of the engine's air intake or spark plug, due to which the water cannot be compressed and parts like piston rods and valves can break. To avoid this, follow these steps to drain water from the engine. If the scooter is submerged in water, remember to self-start it first. If you try to start the scooter yourself, its internal parts will break. First remove the spark plug and then try to kick start the scooter slowly. Then check the engine oil. If necessary, drain the oil and add new oil. Then reinstall the spark plug and try to start the scooter. After following these steps, your scooter will start easily.
