8th Pay Commission will be important for central government employees and pensioners. The commission is currently in session. Information is coming out that the upcoming meeting is in Chennai. After that, meetings will be held in other cities of the country in a phased manner. After the completion of all these meetings, the final report will be submitted to the center after completion of the entire process. After the approval of the Union Cabinet, the way for the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission will be cleared.

Level 7 employees will get more than 14 lakh arrears?

According to a rough calculation, if the implementation is delayed by 20 months, level 7 employees may end up with huge arrears. Assuming a fitment factor of 2.57 for employees with a basic pay of 44900 as per the 7th Pay Commission, the estimated basic pay in the 8th Pay Commission would be 1.15393. So you can get so much benefit. In this calculation the month difference comes to about 70,493. Calculating this difference for 20 months, it is possible to get arrears of 70,493*20=14,09,860 i.e. 14,09,860.

Then how much arrears will the other employees get?

According to its estimated calculation, level 6 employees are likely to get arrears of around 11.11 lakhs, level 5 employees 9.13 lakhs and level 4 employees up to 8 lakhs in 20 months. However, these figures are currently based on estimated calculations.
