Bolivia military base explosion: There is news of a massive explosion in the military base of South American country Bolivia. The explosion was so powerful that 10 people died. Whereas 62 people have been injured. The blast occurred at around 2.30 pm local time (1830 GMT) in an area where explosive materials were stored. Police said that dozens of houses were damaged in the blast, most of the damage was caused by broken windows.

There is a possibility of death of 10-15 people in the blast – Health Director
Viacha's health director Rita Nebraska told local television that 10 to 15 people are expected to die in the incident. He said 14 of the injured were flown to hospitals in La Paz, including a girl suffering from third-degree burns.
Ambulances, medical teams and police have been deployed at the military complex to take stock of the damage and transport the injured to health centres. Firefighters warned that the fire source was still at the scene, posing a risk of another blaze, and urged people to stay at least 150 meters away from the scene, Nebraska said.
