NELLORE: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the silver jubilee celebrations of Swarna Bharat Trust at Venkatachalam in Nellore district on September 7.
Adityanath is scheduled to reach Venkatachalam at 11 am and visit the Soma Skill Centre at Akshara Vidyalaya at 11.30 am. He will later interact with students at the school before arriving at Swarna Bharat Trust at 2 pm to participate in the celebrations and address the gathering.
Former vice-president and Swarna Bharat Trust inspiration M. Venkaiah Naidu, Andhra Pradesh ministers Ponguru Narayana and Y. Satya Kumar, BJP state president P.V.N. Madhav, MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and other prominent personalities will attend the event.
Inviting the public to the event, Swarna Bharat managing trustee Deepa Venkat said the trust was founded 25 years ago as an initiative inspired by Venkaiah Naidu.
She said Swarna Bharat Trust had worked for the empowerment of poor people, women, farmers and rural youth through skill development and free residential training. The trust now operates chapters in Muchintal and Atkuru, besides Venkatachalam, she added.
