Due to busy routine and stress, spinal and digestive problems have become common. In such a situation, yoga and right eating habits can be a better solution for physical and mental health. Among the various asanas of yoga, 'Halaasana' is a surefire and natural solution to many problems.

'Halaasana' is derived from the word Hal. Just as the plough, a farming tool, prepares every field for sowing seeds, Halasana prepares the body and mind for deep rejuvenation.

The Ministry of AYUSH has described Halasana as an advanced yoga asana. According to him, regular practice of Halasana leads to vast improvement in physical and mental health. This asana helps in strengthening the neck, shoulders, back and abdominal muscles.

Along with this, it is highly beneficial in making the spine flexible, stimulating the thyroid gland, improving digestion and reducing stress and fatigue.

By doing this regularly, you can see glow in the skin. In Halasana, the lower part of the body moves upwards and an attempt is made to keep the feet on the ground behind the head. In this condition the blood circulation of the body changes, which is considered very beneficial for the face.

Although this asana looks a little difficult, it is very easy to do. It not only increases flexibility in the body, but is also considered beneficial in many problems like digestion, spine and stress. Additionally, it is known to activate the thyroid gland and balance the body's chakras. Halasana, done with correct technique and caution, provides rejuvenation and internal energy to the body.

These asanas are very easy to do and if done regularly, many changes will be seen in the body. However, pregnant women, people with high blood pressure or neck and back pain problems should avoid doing this asana. Expert advice should be taken before starting.
