Meerut Mavericks have made it to the finals for the fourth consecutive time. This is the first final of Lucknow Falcons.

Lucknow Falcons team has reached the finals by winning seven consecutive matches. The team captained by Bhuvneshwar did not have a good start in the tournament and lost 3 out of its first 4 matches. They then made a strong comeback and won 5 of their next 6 league matches, with the match being abandoned due to rain, giving the team one point. In this way, Lucknow Falcons finished second in the table with 13 points and got a chance to play Qualifier 1.
Lucknow Falcons then booked their place straight into the finals with an impressive win over Meerut Mavericks in Qualifier 1. The biggest strength of Lucknow Falcons is their bowling, which is led by economical bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar (13 wickets at an economy rate of less than 6) and fast bowler Abhinandan Singh. Abhinandan Singh is second in the race for Purple Cap with 21 wickets.
Meerut Mavericks' rhythm deteriorated
