When will Aja Ekadashi be celebrated?

Fast breaking time?

According to the Hindu calendar, Vishnu devotees should break the fast on 8th September. According to religious experts, the auspicious time of Paran starts from 6.32 am to 8.33 am. During this time devotees should break the fast. For your information, Dwadashi Tithi will end after 2:42 pm on 8th September.

Rules of Aja Ekadashi

1.Donation of yellow items- On the day of Aja Ekadashi, devotees should donate some yellow items. Especially donate yellow sweets, gram pulses, bananas and yellow colored clothes.

2. Offering kheer- Devotees should offer kheer to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu. You can also make kheer by mixing makhana, rice and milk. Put basil leaves in it and offer it. Due to this, happiness and prosperity reside in the person's house.

3. Read the story- On this day, all the devotees should read or listen to the story of the fast, otherwise the fast is considered incomplete.

4. Worship Tulsi- Along with worshiping Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi, devotees should also worship the Tulsi plant, which will fulfill the wishes of the devotees.

5. Mantra chanting- All devotees should chant the mantras 108 times. You should also chant the mantra 'Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevay'.
