New Delhi: A major accident took place in Satya Niketan area of ​​Delhi on Sunday afternoon, where a four-storey building suddenly collapsed, after which there was chaos in the area. After the accident, a large-scale rescue operation has been started to rescue the people trapped under the debris. The incident is being reported from Satya Niketan area of ​​south-west Delhi, which falls in RK Puram area. As soon as information about the building collapse was received, many agencies of Delhi reached the spot and started relief work.

Many agencies engaged in rescue operation

It was told by the Delhi Chief Minister’s Office that teams of NDRF, Delhi Fire Service, Delhi Police, DDMA, MCD, CATS and Civil Defense are present on the spot. In view of the possibility of someone being buried under the debris, rescue operations are being carried out continuously.

As a precaution, the building right next to the accident has also been evacuated. The administration is trying to ensure that no other danger arises during the rescue operation and that people can be evacuated safely. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has instructed all concerned departments and agencies to carry out relief work expeditiously with mutual coordination. The Chief Minister’s Office has said that the situation will be continuously monitored.

Three injured admitted to AIIMS Trauma Center

Three people injured in the accident have been taken to AIIMS Trauma Center for treatment. According to the latest information, the condition of all three is said to be critical. A team of doctors is treating the injured. Delhi government minister Ashish Sood also expressed concern over the accident. He said that the concerned teams including Delhi Fire Service have reached the spot and relief operations are going on. He also said that people’s safety is the priority of the government.

Heavy police force deployed in the area

After the building collapse, a large number of policemen have been deployed in Satya Niketan and surrounding areas. Administration teams are present at the spot and keeping an eye on the situation. Efforts are being made to provide necessary help to the affected people and their families. At present, the work of removing the debris and searching for the people trapped in it is going on.
