Ameesha Patel, who made her acting debut with Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, is quite active on social media. The Bollywood actress often shares birthday wishes, anecdotes about her movies and more on her official Instagram and X handles. Earlier today (September 6), she slammed a netizen for romantically linking her to Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya. For those who are unaware, an X user shared a video of Ameesha's interaction with Hardik, suggesting that their meeting was more than just friendly. The user reacted to the actress placing her hand on Hardik's shoulder.

 shared a screenshot of the X user's tweet, where a guy suggested that 'Reddit rumours' about the actress and the cricketer seemed to be true. "The way Ameesha Patel put her hand on Hardik Pandya’s shoulder during the party at a hotel in Bengaluru. All the Reddit rumours seem to be coming true," the netizen wrote.

 

Reacting to it, the Gadar actress said, "So true ya. My god ur correct…truly romantic way my hand was on him. I don’t know u but surely u don’t have a girl even as a friend. It’s time u do have one before posting hence on such things…"

Talking about Hardik, the Indian cricketer is currently in a relationship with model  He made his love affair with the model Insta-official after sharing a picture with Maheika. Before her, he was married to actress Natasa Stankovic for four years before they got divorced. Hardik and Natasa got married on May 31, 2020. The same year, the duo was blessed with their son Agastya. However, on July 18, 2024, they announced their separation via a joint statement on Instagram.

 

"After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us," a part of his note read. He added that it was tough decision for them because of the joy, mutual respect and companionship they enjoyed together.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ameesha was last seen in the romantic drama, Tauba Tera Jalwa. Directed by Akashaditya Lama, the film hit the big screen in 2024.
