BJP, which is busy sharpening the preparations for the 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, has now intensified the efforts to take the election strategy to the ground with better coordination between the organization and the government. In this connection, BJP's National General Secretary and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Vinod Tawde met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday. Various issues to the organization, government and upcoming assembly elections were discussed between the two leaders.

Tawde paid a courtesy call on CM Yogi Adityanath at 5-Kalidas Marg, the official residence of the Chief Minister. During this, BJP's national minister and co-in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Jagdish Ishwarbhai Patel was also present. The meeting is being considered important in terms of BJP's strategic preparations before the 2027 assembly elections. The aim of the party is to further strengthen the organization at the booth level to form the NDA government for the third consecutive time in the state.

Under the successful leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the guidance of BJP National President Nitin Naveen and Home Minister Amit Shah, every worker of BJP is committed to fulfill the resolve of India-developed Uttar Pradesh by forming the NDA government again in 2027.

This is Vinod Tawde's first visit to Lucknow after being made in-charge of Uttar Pradesh. On Saturday, he took stock of the election preparations by holding a meeting with State BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary and State General Secretary Organization Dharampal Singh. During this, many issues were discussed including strengthening the organization up to the booth level, connecting the youth with the party and activating the workers for the upcoming elections.

After reaching Lucknow, Tawde had expressed the party's commitment towards BJP's election preparations and said that every worker of BJP and NDA will contest the upcoming assembly elections with full strength and will achieve victory.

He said that after this the party will remain dedicated to serving the people of the state for the next five years. He also made a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav's 'PDA'. He had said that BJP will foil Akhilesh Yadav's PDA and had described the meaning of PDA as 'Paraya Dhan Apna'.

Tawde had said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP has become the largest political party in the world, while the pace of development in Uttar Pradesh has increased under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that on the basis of this development and the strength of the organization, BJP is moving ahead with the aim of forming the NDA government once again in 2027.

Earlier, upon reaching Lucknow airport, senior party leaders and officials including state BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary welcomed Tawde. During this, State General Secretary Organization Dharampal Singh, State General Secretary Sanjay Rai and State Office Incharge Govind Narayan Shukla and other leaders were present.

BJP national president Nitin Naveen had appointed Vinod Tawde as the new state in-charge of Uttar Pradesh on August 18. At the same time, Jagdish Ishwarbhai Patel has been made co-in-charge of the state. Tawde is the National General Secretary of BJP and Rajya Sabha MP and has earlier held the responsibility of in-charge of states like Haryana and Bihar. He was also in-charge of the party during the 2025 assembly elections in Bihar.

Political analysts say that in view of the next assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP leadership is now preparing to intensify organizational activities. The party's effort is to convey the achievements of the government to the booth level through the workers and to strengthen its hold among various social sections including the youth.
