New Delhi. Hariram Bansal, the owner of the building that collapsed on Sunday in Satya Niketan area of ​​Delhi, has been detained by Delhi Police from Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. Police is bringing him to Delhi. Further investigation is ongoing.

Statement of MCD Commissioner Sanjeev Khirwar

On the incident of building collapse in Satya Niketan, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Commissioner Sanjeev Khirwar said that unfortunately seven people lost their lives in this incident. The building next to this one, which has been weakened, has been strengthened overnight. We will demolish it in a planned manner in the next 1-2 days. This 1970s building was never given any notice nor was it sealed. No complaint was received about this building.

Two students of Moti Lal Nehru College killed

Two students of B.Com second year of Motilal Nehru College have lost their lives in the accident. Who has been identified as Abhishek of Sonbhadra and Yuvraj Soni from the fort of Chhattisgarh. Both of them lived in the same room on the top floor of the hostel.
