Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s World Forum for Art and Culture (WFAC), the global cultural wing of The Art of Living, has partnered with Creativeland Studios to take the Krishnavataram film trilogy to international audiences.
The first instalment, Krishnavataram: Part 1 – Hridayam, which was released in India on May 7, 2026, is now set for a global release. The film reportedly received a strong response in India and explores Lord Krishna’s journey from Vrindavan to Dwarka and Kurukshetra, while focusing on themes of divine love, devotion and emotional connection.
Directed by Hardik Gajjar, the film stars Siddharth Gupta as Lord Krishna, Sushmita Bhat as Radha, Sanskruti Jayana as Satyabhama and Nivaashiyni Krishnan as Rukmini. Jackie Shroff and Ashutosh Rana also feature in the film.
Inspired by the Brahma Vaivarta Purana attributed to Vyasa, Krishnavataram: Part 1 – Hridayam presents Krishna’s story through a blend of mythology, emotion and devotion.
As part of the collaboration, the World Forum for Art and Culture and Raj Kurup’s Creativeland Studios have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar set to guide the team further.
“Krishna means the most attractive self. It is the divinity that is the most attractive; the energy that pulls everything to it. When you realise your life and the whole world is just a Leela (play), then Krishna is born inside you,” Shankar said in a statement.
Producer Sajan Raj Kurup also expressed his gratitude for Shankar’s association with the project.
“With the blessings of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, who has nurtured the entire world with his grace and transformed the lives of millions, this film finds its best place at the feet of Gurudev,” he said.
The global release is expected to introduce the Krishnavataram trilogy to a wider international audience, with further details about its release plans likely to be announced soon.
