Why the fall in gold and silver prices?
At present many global factors are working behind the fluctuations in the prices of gold and silver. Tension in West Asia and rising crude oil prices have increased uncertainty in the commodity market.
Apart from this, investors are keeping an eye on the upcoming meeting of the US Federal Reserve. There is a possibility of inflation increasing due to expensive crude oil, which is affecting market expectations regarding US interest rates. Its effect is also visible on the prices of precious metals like gold and silver.
Is this the right opportunity to invest in gold and silver?
Looking at the current fall in gold and silver, it would not be right to consider this as a sure opportunity to buy immediately. Prices may continue to fluctuate further. However, many market experts believe that the demand for gold may remain strong in the long term.
Some big market experts including Goldman Sachs have also expressed the possibility of long-term rise in gold prices. In such a situation, the investment decision should be taken keeping in mind the current price as well as your goal, risk and investment period.
Who will the market keep an eye on next?
Expectations of US interest rates, movement of the dollar, crude oil prices, tensions in West Asia and global economic conditions may play an important role in deciding the direction of Gold-Silver Prices in the coming days. Therefore, amid the fall in gold and silver prices, it is important to keep an eye on the next move of the market.
