London. Such a dangerous accident happened to a 35-year-old woman while skydiving in Britain, in which her life was saved despite falling from a height of thousands of feet without an open parachute. The woman became unconscious in the air and kept falling for about 10 thousand feet without opening the parachute. Ultimately his fall was slowed down by a collision with a tree and his life was saved.
According to media reports, the incident took place on August 7 at Langer Airfield near Nottingham. A woman named Holly Vifan was skydiving with a group from a height of about 12 thousand feet. Hit hard on the head and fainted in the air
During skydiving, suddenly another skydiver's leg collided with Holly's head. The impact was so strong that she became unconscious in the air. Due to unconsciousness, she was not in a position to open her parachute and continued falling at high speed.
Seeing Holly falling down in this condition, another skydiver chased her and tried to catch her in the air. However, after reaching a height of about 3,000 feet he had to open his parachute. After this, Holi continued falling down. Some part of the accident was also recorded in the camera installed on his helmet.
Kept falling for about 10 thousand feet without a parachute
According to reports, Holi descended about 10 thousand feet without opening the parachute. He has little recollection of the events that occurred during this period. She later said that she felt as if she was dreaming and skydiving. His next clear memory came when he found himself on the ground.
Speed of fall reduced after hitting tree
Holi did not reach the scheduled landing site, but instead crashed into a tree. The tree significantly slowed down the speed of his fall. It is believed that due to this his life could be saved.
After the accident, Holi was taken to the hospital. His left leg was broken and his spine fractured in the accident. There were injuries and severe blue marks on many parts of the body. Despite this, his survival after falling from a height of thousands of feet without an open parachute is considered extremely extraordinary.
