New Delhi: Pakistan's latest video on Operation Sindoor has triggered a fresh controversy after it made several dramatic claims about strikes on Indian military facilities, including alleged attacks on 32 Indian air bases, Parliament and S-400 air defense systems.
The video, released by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on Air Force Day, uses artificial intelligence-generated visuals and cinematic animations to portray a major military victory. However, questions have been raised over the lack of actual evidence supporting the claims made in the video.
Pakistan Claims Strikes on 32 Air Bases
The animated video titled 'Fizaon ke Pasban' claims that Pakistani forces targeted 32 Indian Air Force bases during Operation Sindoor. It also claims the destruction of several Indian fighter aircraft, including Rafale, Su-30MKI, MiG-29 and Mirage 2000 jets.
The video further depicts alleged attacks on strategic locations such as the Parliament building, Kandla Port and INS Vikrant.
However, no satellite images, verified photographs or independent evidence have been presented to support these claims.
S-400 Destruction Claim Also Questioned
One of the biggest claims in the video is that Pakistan destroyed two S-400 air defense systems deployed by India.
Military analysts have questioned the claim, pointing out that Pakistan has not released any concrete proof of damage to India's advanced air defense network.
The claim also came under scrutiny after Indian leadership publicly showcased operational military assets following the conflict.
India Released Evidence, Says Fact Check
The controversy comes after India released visuals and details to Operation Sindoor, including footage of strikes on terror infrastructure and damage caused to Pakistani military facilities.
Officials and analysts have highlighted the difference between verified imagery and animated videos, arguing that battlefield claims require independent evidence.
AI Propaganda Debate Intensifies
The release of the video has sparked a debate over the growing use of artificial intelligence in information warfare. Experts say AI-generated content can create realistic-looking visuals that may influence public opinion despite lacking factual backing.
The latest video has been widely discussed online, with critics questioning why Pakistan relied on animated sequences instead of releasing verifiable evidence.
