PM Modi spoke to Gen Z in Vadodara, addressed the 'NaMo for Developed India' program, 6 thousand young professionals gathered

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of Gujarat and Maharashtra on Tuesday i.e. today. According to the information, during his visit he is going to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many development projects in both the states. PM Modi has first reached Vadodara in Gujarat. Here he will start many projects to railways and roads. Apart from this, he will also participate in the program 'NaMo 4 Developed India'.

Projects worth Rs 20,700 crore

In Vadodara, PM Modi will dedicate three stretches of the 326 km long Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) to the country. More than Rs 20,700 crore has been spent on these projects. Along with this, he will flag off some goods trains and passenger trains. PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of several railway projects including the third and fourth railway lines between Vadodara-Ratlam. Along with this, work on some highway projects will also be started, which will help in improving the railway and road network.

Big update regarding bullet train

In the program, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also gave information about Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train. He told that the work of bullet train between Surat and Vapi is going on at a fast pace. Construction of this portion is expected to be completed by December 2026. After the completion of construction, the train will be tested for about three months. Ashwini Vaishnav said that once the Bullet Train starts, the journey from Vadodara to Mumbai can be completed in about one and a half hours.

Thousands of youth gathered in the program

Let us tell you, more than 6,000 young professionals have also attended PM Modi's Vadodara program. In the program, emphasis was laid on modernization of railways and creating better facilities for the youth.

Fintech Fest inaugurated in Mumbai

After Vadodara, PM Modi will go to Mumbai, where he will inaugurate the Global Fintech Fest 2026 to be held from 8 to 11 September. New technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Tokenization and Quantum Technology will be discussed in this program. Along with this, future digital and financial system will also be discussed.
