With this inning, Ishaan became the second batsman to score the most runs in the final of Duleep Trophy. In this matter, he left behind Indian cricket team's star batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, who before him had played an innings of 265 runs for West Zone against South Zone in the final of Duleep Trophy 2022.

Now Ishan Kishan is only behind Raman Lamba, who is at the top in the list of players who have played the most individual innings in the Duleep Trophy final. He played an inning of 320 runs for North Zone against West Zone in the 1987 final, which is the highest innings played by a batsman in the Duleep Trophy final till date.
