Ram Charan has almost recovered from his wrist surgery and has now started working on his physique for his next film with director Sukumar.
Sukumar has reportedly asked Ram Charan to lose at least 8 kg for his role in the untitled film, tentatively referred to as “RC17.” After waiting until he recovered from the surgery, the actor has now begun following a special diet and workout regimen to shed the required weight.
Sukumar has completed the scripting of the film and is currently preparing for the production. The film is expected to begin shooting in November or December, with a formal launch likely to take place before filming starts.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad. Several names, including Sara Arjun and Rukmini Vasanth, have been linked to the project as the possible female lead, but Sukumar is yet to finalise the actress.
Following the underwhelming performance of “Peddi,” which reportedly did good business in the Telugu market but struggled in other languages, and the disastrous result of “Game Changer,” Ram Charan will be under pressure to deliver a major success with RC17.
