There is tremendous enthusiasm among the audience about Pankaj Tripathi, Divyendu and Ali Fazal’s film ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’. The popular story of Mirzapur has now reached the big screen and the film has got a good start at the box office. Meanwhile, the end-credit scene of the film has intensified the discussion about its next part.
According to the report of Hindustan Times, the makers of the film had shot an additional end-credit scene. This scene was initially to be included in the theatrical version of the film, but later it was decided to save it for Part 2.
According to an industry source, this scene can lay the foundation for the next chapter of the story. The makers felt that if it was used in the sequel instead of showing it now, it would have a better impact on the story. That means the audience can get to see another new chapter of the story of Mirzapur.
Great start of the film at the box office too
Apart from Pankaj Tripathi, Divyendu and Ali Fazal, many actors including Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Mohit Raina, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang, Pramod Pathak, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Shweta Tripathi are seen in ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’.
Collection of Rs 27.85 crore on the first day of release
The film collected Rs 27.85 crore on the first day of its release. On the second day, the Hindi version earned around Rs 32.5 crore. With this, the total collection of the film reached Rs 60.35 crore in two days. The film’s earnings and hints of Part 2 have further increased the curiosity of the fans.
