Suzuki Motorcycle India has updated its Gixxer motorcycle range with new color options. This update includes Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF 250 and Gixxer SF 250 FFV. This time the company has not made any changes in the mechanical setup of the bike. The starting ex-showroom price of Gixxer with the new color scheme is ₹ 1,37,221.
Gixxer and Gixxer SF get new color
The 155cc Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF have been introduced in Metallic Oort Gray + Pearl Blaze Orange dual-tone color. It will be available with the existing color options. Information about the 155cc engine, fuel injection and 5-speed gearbox of Gixxer/Gixxer SF has been given on the official website of Suzuki.
Apart from the new color scheme, no new mechanical changes have been announced in the engine and performance of these two models. The 155cc engine produces 13.6 PS power and 13.8 Nm torque.
How much does Gixxer cost?
- Gixxer: Starting from ₹1,37,221
- Gixxer SF: Starting from ₹1,40,729
- Gixxer 250: Starting from ₹1,84,517
- Gixxer SF 250: Starting from ₹1,92,768
- Gixxer SF 250 FFV: Starting from ₹1,98,476
The prices given above are ex-showroom Delhi. The amount will be higher after adding RTO, insurance and other charges to the on-road price.
New color in 250cc model also
Suzuki has given Glass Sparkle Black + Metallic Oort Gray color combination to Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250. Along with getting this combination, Gixxer SF 250 FFV has also been given the additional option of Glass Sparkle Black.
Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 have 250cc engines. Suzuki Oil Cooling System is provided in these models and the engine gives power of 26.5 PS and torque of 22.2 Nm.
Were there changes in the engine or features?
The current update is mainly limited to color and cosmetic updates. According to available reports, Suzuki has not announced any changes in the engine, gearbox or mechanical setup of the bike with this update. The models with the new color scheme are being made available at Suzuki dealerships across the country.
What changed for buyers?
If you are preparing to buy the new Gixxer, then you can now choose the new gray and orange dual-tone option along with the old colors. The lowest price tier for the Gixxer starts at ₹1.37 lakh ex-showroom. However, the final on-road price will vary depending on your city, RTO and insurance.
