New Delhi:There is relief news for the travelers going to Bihar during the festival season. In view of the increasing rush of passengers, Northern Railway has decided to run a reserved daily special train between New Delhi and Supaul Junction. That is, amid the rush for tickets during the festive season, Railways has opened another way for the passengers.
Operating period of special train
04072 New Delhi–Supaul special train will run from 1 October to 28 November 2026. In return, 04071 Supaul – New Delhi special will operate from 3 October to 30 November 2026. 59-59 rounds will be made in both directions.
Train timings and routes
The train originating from New Delhi will depart at 9.35 pm and reach Supaul Junction at 6.35 am the next day. En route, the train will stop at many major stations including Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Tundla, Etawah, Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Gyanpur Road, Varanasi, Ghazipur City, Ballia, Chhapra, Sonpur, Hajipur, Barauni, Begusarai, Khagaria, Mansi, Simri Bakhtiyarpur and Saharsa. In return, the train will depart from Supaul at 3.45 pm and will reach New Delhi at 3 pm the next day.
Coaches and Passenger Facilities
For the convenience of passengers, air-conditioned, sleeper and ordinary class coaches will be installed in the special train. This special train has brought relief as an additional option for the passengers preparing to go home during the festivals.
