CM Yogi gave a big gift to Anganwadi workers and assistants, know how much salary increase he announced every month

Ayodhya. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the program of distribution of appointment letters to newly appointed Anganwadi workers and assistants. During this he made a big announcement. As per the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister has come to provide benefits of four types of schemes to Anganwadi workers and helpers.

He said, the way Yashoda Maiya had nurtured Kanha in Dwapar, our Anganwadi workers and helpers are playing the same role today. Today's 'Kanha' i.e. the first interaction of the children of our country after their mother is with the Anganwadi sisters and their helpers.

In the last 9 years, more than 70,000 Anganwadi centers have been given a systematic structure in the state. We have directed the department for Anganwadi centers to ensure that each Anganwadi center has its own building. Also said, cashless medical facility of ₹ 5 lakh per year will be available to all the Anganwadi workers and assistants of the state in any empaneled hospital, government hospital or medical college.

During this, the Chief Minister made a big announcement and said that earlier Anganwadi workers used to receive an honorarium of ₹ 3,000. We increased it to ₹8,000. Now we are going to increase it to ₹12,000 per month. The honorarium of the assistants was ₹ 1,500. We made it ₹4,000, now we are going to increase it to ₹6,000.
