New Delhi. The mood of monsoon has once again become very aggressive across the country. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a new red and orange alert of heavy rain for many states of the country. Especially the weather has taken a turn in many districts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan, where along with torrential rains, dangerous winds with a speed of 80 kilometers per hour are expected. This distorted form of weather has increased the concerns of the administration and common citizens.

According to the reports received, due to the change in the weather system, continuous rain has been going on in many parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar for the last few hours. Problems of waterlogging and traffic jams have started emerging at many places. At the same time, due to the activation of monsoon, heavy rains have started in the desert state of Rajasthan, which has created a situation of waterlogging in low-lying areas. The Meteorological Department has warned that during the next few hours, the wind speed may be quite high (about 80 km/hour), which may cause damage to weak trees, electric poles and mud houses.

In view of the worsening situation, the concerned state governments and district administrations have been fully alerted. Disaster management teams (NDRF/SDRF) have been instructed to remain deployed in sensitive areas. Meteorologists have appealed to the general public to stay in safe places during inclement weather, avoid standing near trees or weak walls and avoid unnecessary travel to avoid any untoward incident.
