Yogi government's policies increased the confidence of industries in UP, entrepreneurs appreciated the government's efforts.

UP Textile Conclave 2026 : The picture of industrial development in Uttar Pradesh has changed rapidly. The government facilities being provided to industries along with better law and order, strong infrastructure, uninterrupted power supply, better roads and connectivity have increased the confidence of investors. In the two-day UP Textile Conclave-2026, which started in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Indira Gandhi Pratisthan in Lucknow on Tuesday, industrialists openly appreciated the changed business environment in the state.

From information about schemes to investment, cooperation from officials

Rahul Aggarwal of Ram Kumar Agro, Bareilly said that the officials are continuously providing guidance and cooperation to the industrialists along with giving them information about government schemes. New industries are being established in the state and businessmen are now feeling the environment to invest fearlessly. Giving information about employment to about 500 people in his factory, he described improvement in power supply, roads and infrastructure as important for the industries.

Expansion encouraged through subsidies and government assistance

Aarushi Singhal of FCO Exports, Ghaziabad said that after 2017, positive changes have been seen in every sector in the state. Industries are being encouraged to expand with government support. About 800 people are employed in his industry and there are plans to increase employment in the coming time. He also mentioned about 25 percent government support under the TUF scheme and other subsidies including export licenses.

Textile policy gave strong base to investors

Ambika Prasad Pandey of Tanda-based Parth Thread Private Limited appreciated the policies implemented for the textile sector. He said that the company has got the benefit of capital subsidy up to 35 percent and interest subsidy up to 60 percent. Giving information about investment of about Rs 150 crore and employment to several thousand people, he said that skilled artisans are also being made available to industries through training schemes.

Law and order and connectivity become major strengths of investment

K.K. of GSL Spinners, Rampur. Jain said that change is clearly visible in UP under the guidance of CM Yogi. Better law and order, uninterrupted electricity, approval from a single portal and strong transport system have made it easy to set up industries. The company has invested around Rs 250 crore and provided direct employment to around 700 people. Law and order is most important for any investor and there has been a lot of improvement in this direction in the state. The industrial policies of the Yogi government are not limited to attracting investment only, but are also playing an important role in the expansion of industries, employment generation and strengthening the local economy.
