Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the AIM Congress-2026 held at Dubai World Trade Center on Monday. In this he invited investors from all over the world to invest in Madhya Pradesh. Said that Madhya Pradesh is located at the center of India’s huge domestic market and due to strong connectivity, developed industrial base and investment-friendly policies, it is rapidly making its mark among the major industrial states of the country. Said that this platform has gone beyond traditional investment and has become a powerful platform for global innovation, economic partnership and new opportunities.
He said that the changing global economy, geopolitical conditions, changes in supply chains, artificial intelligence and green growth are influencing the direction of investment today. The Chief Minister also invited Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi and the Arab business delegation led by him to visit Madhya Pradesh and participate in GIS-2027. During his stay in Dubai, he met the President of Ethiopia His Excellency Taeyeon Selassie and discussed further strengthening India-Ethiopia economic relations with investments.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited Ethiopian industry and business to invest in Madhya Pradesh. Said that Madhya Pradesh has vast investment potential in sectors like agriculture, food processing, textile, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, logistics, energy and modern technology. The Chief Minister also met Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of Dubai and Ruler of Ras-Al-Khaimah. The two discussed cooperation and investment in sectors such as ceramics and construction materials, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, tourism and hospitality, food processing, logistics and renewable energy.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that relations between India and Dubai are at unprecedented heights today. The Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement CEPA, to be implemented in 2022, has opened up new opportunities for trade, investment, logistics and digital cooperation. He said that bilateral trade between India and UAE has crossed the $100 billion mark and there is an ambitious target of taking it to $200 billion by the year 2032.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the traditional identity of Madhya Pradesh like Chanderi and Maheshwari is being linked with modern textile park and garment manufacturing. The aim of the state is to create an important place in the global textile value chain. He said that Madhya Pradesh is also progressing rapidly in the fields of pharmaceuticals, engineering and advanced manufacturing. Industrial centers like Pithampur, Mandideep and Malanpur have become strong bases for automobile, engineering, electronics and hi-tech manufacturing. The industrial capacity of Madhya Pradesh has been further strengthened by the establishment of optical fiber and advanced manufacturing units.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met Chairman of Arab Parliament Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi and discussed cooperation between Arab countries and Madhya Pradesh in the fields of trade, investment, agriculture, tourism and education. He informed the Arab investors about the opportunities available in Madhya Pradesh in the fields of renewable energy, pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical equipment, textiles, logistics, advanced manufacturing and urban infrastructure.
