Uttarakhand: The effect of monsoon is being seen in different forms in many parts of the country. After the landslide in Pauri district of Uttarakhand, six shops of Pabau market have been evacuated and more than 25 shops are in danger. On the other hand, in Bihar, eight rivers including Ganga are in spate and flood situation persists in 14 districts. Monsoon has taken a three-day break in Madhya Pradesh, while an alert has been issued regarding rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh.

According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain and strong winds in many parts of the country.

Danger to shops due to landslide in Pauri

Danger has increased in Pabou market due to landslide in Pauri district of Uttarakhand. Six shops have been evacuated due to fear of being hit by landslides. At the same time, more than 25 shops are under threat.

There have been reports of cracks in some nearby houses and shops due to the landslide. The affected area is being monitored by the administration.

In view of the possibility of rain in the hilly districts, the Meteorological Department has also advised to be cautious. A warning has been issued regarding heavy rain and strong winds in many parts of Uttarakhand.

Flood crisis in 14 districts of Bihar

Eight rivers including Ganga are still in spate in Bihar. Flood situation persists in 14 districts of the state. According to available data, about 35.89 lakh people are affected by this.

The impact of flood has been reported in 62 blocks and 491 panchayats. Apart from Ganga, rivers like Kosi, Gandak and Ghaghra are also flowing above the danger mark.

The situation has become more serious after the breakdown of the Zamindari dam built on the Mahi river in Saran. In such a situation, the administration and local agencies face the challenge of relief and rescue work in the affected areas.

The weather forecast also indicates the possibility of rain and thundershowers in many parts of Bihar, which may increase problems in the already flood affected areas.

Ganga water level rises in Malda

Due to rise in the water level of Ganga in Malda district of West Bengal, the situation of flood and erosion in Mahananda Tola and surrounding areas has intensified.

Information has come to light about 15 to 20 thousand people being affected at the local level. Due to the rising water level and erosion of the river, the concern of the people living in low-lying areas has increased.

Rain activities are likely to remain active over many parts of East India during the next 24 hours. Rain may occur over many areas including East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal with heavy rain at some places.

Three days monsoon break in Madhya Pradesh

Monsoon has once again taken a break of three days in Madhya Pradesh. According to Meteorological Center Bhopal, there is no possibility of heavy or very heavy rain in the state till September 11.

However, there are also signs of change in the weather. A low-pressure area is likely to become active over west-central and north-west Bay of Bengal on September 11. Its effect may start becoming visible in Madhya Pradesh and surrounding areas from September 12.

According to meteorologists, rainfall activities may increase again after the activation of the new system.

Chances of increase in rain in Chhattisgarh from September 10

At present there is relatively less rainfall activity in Chhattisgarh. However, according to the Meteorological Department, rainfall activities may increase in the state from September 10.

Rain break for three days in Rajasthan also

Due to weakening of monsoon in Rajasthan, rain activities are likely to remain less for the next three days. According to the Meteorological Department, a new low-pressure system may form in the Bay of Bengal on September 11.

Due to the impact of this system, a period of light rain is likely to start in eastern parts of Rajasthan from September 12.

Before this, the weather is expected to remain relatively dry in most parts of the state. However, changes in weather are possible at local level.

Rain alert in 23 districts of Uttar Pradesh

In Uttar Pradesh, an alert has been issued regarding rain in 23 districts including Varanasi and Prayagraj. Due to rain, it has been decided to keep all schools up to class 8 closed in Lakhimpur and Bareilly.

Schools from pre-primary to class 5 will remain closed in Varanasi. At the same time, schools from classes 6 to 12 will be operated from 9 am to 3 pm.

Despite reports of weakening of monsoon activities in some areas in Uttar Pradesh, rainfall continues in different areas.

Weather dry in most parts of Punjab

Monsoon activities have weakened in Punjab and Chandigarh. Light to moderate rain may occur in parts of Pathankot, Rupnagar and Hoshiarpur today.

Mercury crossed 35 degrees in Haryana

As the pace of monsoon is slowing down in Haryana, the temperature is increasing. The maximum temperature has reached above 35 degrees Celsius in more than 10 major cities and weather centers of the state.

According to the Meteorological Department, the average maximum temperature in the state has been recorded about 1.9 degrees Celsius more than normal. There is a possibility of increase in heat and humidity due to the influence of western winds.

Warning of rain and strong winds in many states of the country

In the forecast of the Meteorological Department on September 9, there is a possibility of heavy rain, thunder and strong winds in many states of the country. Weather activities may remain active in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and many eastern states.

Heavy rain is likely at some places over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. At the same time, rainfall activities in North-West India are expected to be relatively weak.
