The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the re-examination for the English, Commerce, and Sociology papers under the UGC-NET June session on September 9 and 10. The NTA has issued travel advisories and exam guidelines for candidates appearing for the exam. Candidates should carefully review and adhere to all the issued guidelines to avoid any issues on the day of the exam.

**Travel Guidelines**
The NTA has outlined travel guidelines in four points. You can view them below and plan your travel to the exam venue accordingly:

Check the route to your exam center in advance.
Stay informed about potential travel restrictions.
Allow extra time to reach the exam center.
Arrive at the exam center before the scheduled exam time.

**Mandatory Documents: Admit Card and Identity Proof**
All candidates appearing for the UGC-NET exam must carry their admit card and a valid identity proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, or Driving License). Entry to the exam hall will not be permitted without the admit card and identity proof, and you will be unable to take the exam.

**Other Important Rules**
Candidates may carry a sanitizer and a transparent water bottle on the day of the exam.
Do not carry any electronic gadgets into the exam hall.
Candidates should also carry a passport-sized photograph to avoid any difficulties during the verification process.
Apart from the admit card, do not carry any documents related to cheating or unauthorized study material.

**Subject-wise Exam Dates and Shift Timings**
The UGC-NET re-examination will be held on September 9 and 10. On the first day, the exam will be conducted in two shifts. On September 9, the English exam will take place in the first shift, while the Commerce exam will be held in the second shift. On September 10, the Sociology exam will be conducted only in the morning shift. The timing for the first shift is from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift examination will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
